Some people will receive their results within a few days, others may wait longer depending on their personal information.
Your application won’t be processed until you have completed the application form, made payment, had your photo taken, provided proof of identity and agreed to the terms and conditions.
Delays may be caused by:
- the time it takes for information to be reported on criminal history
- having a common surname or date of birth
- having records against your name
If we need more information to progress your application, we will contact you.
The process can take more than six months for complex applications.
