As you may be aware, PlanBuild Tasmania Application Services is now live and being used by the City of Hobart, TasWater and Heritage Tasmania for the lodgement of Planning, Building, Plumbing, and related Environmental Health applications within the Hobart municipality area.

Professionals can now submit applications on behalf of their clients, track the status of applications and interact with relevant authorities throughout the application process via the centralised PlanBuild portal.

The rollout of Application Services will continue to occur in stages. As the service is rolled out more broadly across the state, the online lodgement and tracking function will be available to more Tasmanians.

Tailored eLearning course are available for occupational licence holders including builders, plumbers, architects, designers and building surveyors with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points offered to professionals who complete the relevant eLearning courses.
