New TasNetworks' service and installation rules

The new version of TasNetworks’ Service and Installation Rules (version 8.2) came into effect on 1 July 2022. The rules specify TasNetworks’ minimum requirements for connecting to their low voltage distribution network.

There is also an Interim Connection Arrangement document which carries over some existing requirements from the previous Rules. This will remain in place until the new CBOS metering code of practice commences. When the new CBOS metering code of practice is published we will notify all electrical contractors.
