Food for Thought - Protecting Against Scams and Navigating Consumer Rights
Have you been scammed before or know someone who has?
In 2024 Tasmanians reported losing over $5,000,000 to scammers, with Tasmania’s most vulnerable accounting for more than 65% of reported losses.
Join Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS) and Libraries Tasmania for an information session during Seniors Week 2025.
These information sessions aim to educate Tasmanians on how to identify and protect themselves from scams. Learn about the different types of scams, recognising signs of scams and what to do if you have been targeted by a scammer.
Join us at one of our free sessions and learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from scams.
