Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS), is reviewing the Building Regulations 2016 (the Regulations). Tasmanian regulations are required to be remade every decade and the Regulations will expire in December 2026.
We are seeking input from stakeholders and collaborating with them to ensure any updates reflect community and stakeholder needs.
We specifically seek your views on the following question:
- Is there anything in the Regulations that needs to be varied, added or removed?
Please note this is only the first step in our consultation process, and further consultation, including any substantive changes to the Regulations, will occur as the process progresses.
