Occupational Licensing (Mechanical Services Refrigerated Air Conditioning Exemptions) Order 2010 (Consultation closed)

Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS) is currently reviewing the requirement for specified electrical and refrigeration practitioners to hold a Restricted Mechanical Services Plumber Work licence related to the installation of refrigerated air-conditioning systems involving flexible ducting.

CBOS is seeking your feedback on the following question:

Should specified electrical and refrigeration practitioners be required to apply for a restricted class of plumbing licence to enable the installation of flexible ducting associated with the installation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems?
