NCC 2022 includes a broad range of changes to both the internal and external waterproofing provisions applicable to both houses and apartments. Find out more about these important updates and changes.

This 2 hour workshop will provide a detailed breakdown of the changes across:

• NCC Volume One
• NCC Volume Two and Housing Provisions
• AS3740:2021 Waterproofing of internal wet areas
• AS/NZS 3500.2 Sanitary plumbing requirements for installing branch drains in floor framing

This includes:

• clarifying application of internal and external waterproofing including to alfresco areas and balconies
• extent of waterproofing required in shower areas
• falls to floor wastes
• acceptable substrates for walls and floors in wet areas
• allowances for use of polished concrete
• alternate waterproofing solutions
