Security agents working during COVID-19 pandemic

WorkSafe Tasmania has released new COVID-19 Safe Workplace guidelines covering a range of industries.

The COVID Safe Workplace guidelines - Security Industry (PDF, 127.1 KB) sets out what employers should do as they continue, or seek to resume, business operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The security industry guidelines covers:

  • Managing health and safety risks
  • Cleaning and hygiene
  • Entry restrictions and physical distancing at the workplace
  • Training and supervision
  • Responding to a COVID-19 incident
  • Checklists and templates to help you develop a COVID-19 Safety Plan
