TasTAFE Plumbing CPD Program

Content and Duration

This is a 4-hour course that includes the following:

1. Compliance requirements of the Building Act 2016
2. Roof plumbing design requirements within the new NCC 2022
3. Interpretation of the DTS General Method solution in AS/NZS 3500.3:2021
4. Determination of regional rainfall intensity (AEP%)
5. Applying eaves gutter effective cross-sectional area data in the sizing process
6. Catchment areas per downpipe and size of downpipes
7. Calculation of DTS overflow measures.

Pre-Requisites

Open to all building designers, builders and plumbers with a Roof ‘Practitioner’ or ‘Certifier’ license

Outcome

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded Statements of Attendance documenting the number of CPD points earned. (This course is not a substitute for Cert IV license units)
